LOS ANGELES, April 23 (UPI) -- Glen Campbell has canceled the remaining dates on his North American concert tour because his Alzheimer's disease is worsening, Rolling Stone reported.

However, Campbell, 77, is expected to release a new album called "See You There" in July.

He was diagnosed in December 2010 with Alzheimer's disease and had been performing a series of live farewell performances.

In addition to his music, Campbell is also famous for co-starring opposite John Wayne and Kim Darby in the original 1969 "True Grit" film.
