INDIO, Calif., April 14 (UPI) -- Detroit rapper Danny Brown joked at California's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this weekend he is "the black Brad Pitt."
While delivering his repertoire of sex-fused rhymes to the Coachella crowd Saturday, the hip-hop artist boasted "I'm the black Brad Pitt," the Los Angeles Times reported.
The day's performers also included chef-turned-MC Action Bronson, who offered up a plateful of cooking-related mix tapes.
Atlanta's 2 Chainz showed up nearly 20 minutes late for his performance but won over the miffed audience with his renditions of Kanye West's "Mercy" and "Beez in the Trap" by Nicki Minaj, the newspaper said. Backed by a six-piece band, he also did songs from his "Based on a T.R.U. Story" album, including "Birthday Song," "I'm Different" and "I Luv Dem Strippers."
