Rapper Too Short booked for DUI, narcotics possession

LOS ANGELES, March 20 (UPI) -- Todd Anthony Shaw, the rapper known as Too Short, has been arrested in Los Angeles after allegedly driving under the influence, police said.

TMZ reported Shaw was booked for DUI and felony narcotics possession after police pulled him over Tuesday night for a traffic violation and noticed he was intoxicated.

As police attempted to administer a breathalyzer test, Shaw ran away and tripped on the street. He was apprehended, placed under arrest and allegedly tried to dump narcotics from the back of the police cruiser, the celebrity news website said.
