Rihanna postpones concert in Boston

BOSTON, March 10 (UPI) -- Pop star Rihanna has been forced to cancel her concert in Boston Sunday night after she contracted laryngitis, officials said.

Rihanna was scheduled to perform at the TD Garden, but Live Nation announced that the show would be postponed Sunday morning, TMZ.com reported.

"Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening," Live Nation said.

The star has a show scheduled in Baltimore on Tuesday, which Live Nation said will go on. The Boston show will be rescheduled.
