LOS ANGELES, March 9 (UPI) -- Hillary Scott's publicist told UsMagazine.com the pregnant American country music star is having a girl.
Scott, 26, is the singer for the vocal group Lady Antebellum.
She and her husband, drummer Chris Tyrrell, announced in December they were expecting their first child together.
The baby's anticipated due date has not been disclosed.
"Chris and I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a baby!" she tweeted late last year. "We feel so blessed!!!"
The couple married in January 2012.
