BUENA PARK, Calif., March 8 (UPI) -- Richard Street's wife, Cynthia, says viewings of the late musician will take place next week in Cypress, Calif., and be open to the public.

Street died Feb. 27 from a blood clot in his lung at a Las Vegas hospital. He was 70.

He was a longtime lead singer of the Temptations and also enjoyed a successful solo career.

Public viewings are to be March 14-15 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress.

"It is with heartfelt sentiment that we want to thank his fans, admirers, and supporters for their many expressions of care and concern during this difficult time," Cynthia Street said in a statement Thursday.
