NEW YORK, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Producer Cameron Mackintosh says the new 25th anniversary staging of the long-running hit musical, "Les Miserables," will open on Broadway in spring 2014.
Directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell, the production has toured the United Kingdom and is working its way through North America. It is to open at a Shubert theater to be announced soon, Playbill.com said Tuesday.
