PHOENIX, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Pop star and actress Jennifer Lopez is to perform at the Celebrity Fight Night XIX benefit in Phoenix next month, organizers announced.

The charity event is to take place at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa March 23.

Celebrity Fight Night has raised $80 million for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center and other charities in the past 18 years.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Lopez Family Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children and women.

"We're honored to have Jennifer Lopez give a special performance this year. Her generosity and humanitarian work align with the vision of Celebrity Fight Night and will inspire a successful night of fundraising for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center and other great causes," Jimmy Walker, founder and president of the Celebrity Fight Night Foundation, said in a statement.

Country music star Reba McEntire is to serve as emcee of the event for her eighth consecutive year.

Additional performers and attending celebrities will be announced in the coming weeks, organizers said.
