'Les Miserables' soundtrack tops U.S. album chart

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- The soundtrack to the movie musical "Les Miserables" is No. 1 on the U.S. album chart, Billboard.com reported Wednesday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 is Mumford & Sons' "Babel," followed by Taylor Swift's "Red" at No. 3, Phillip Phillips' "The World From the Side of the Moon" at No. 4 and One Direction's "Take Me Home" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are Bruno Mars' "Unorthodox Jukebox" at No. 6, the "Pitch Perfect" soundtrack at No. 7, the Lumineers' self-titled album at No. 8, Alicia Keys' "Girl on Fire" at No. 9 and P!nk's "The Truth About Love" at No. 10.
