NEW YORK, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band are to kick off Wednesday's star-studded Hurricane Sandy concert in New York, organizers said.

All proceeds will benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund.

Celebrities expected to help out during the show include Steve Buscemi, Naomi Campbell, Chelsea Clinton, Sean Combs, Billy Crystal, Tony Danza, Jimmy Fallon, Jamie Foxx, James Gandolfini, Gina Gershon, Whoopi Goldberg, Jake Gyllenhaal, Katie Holmes, Blake Lively, Jeremy Piven, Adam Sandler, Steve Schirripa, Jon Stewart, Kristen Stewart, Ben Stiller, Quentin Tarantino and Olivia Wilde, as well as past and present stars of the New York Knicks and Rangers sports teams.

The net proceeds from the soundtrack will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund, which is providing money, material and know-how to local organizations that are serving families and individuals in the regions hardest hit by the hurricane.
