The rockers hail from New Jersey, parts of which were ravaged by the October super-storm, along with New York City and Long Island.
Also set to perform at the 12-12-12 fundraiser at Madison Square Garden are Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, The Rolling Stones, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who and Paul McCartney.
All proceeds will benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund.
Celebrities expected to help out during the show include Steve Buscemi, Naomi Campbell, Chelsea Clinton, Sean Combs, Billy Crystal, Tony Danza, Jimmy Fallon, Jamie Foxx, James Gandolfini, Gina Gershon, Whoopi Goldberg, Jake Gyllenhaal, Katie Holmes, Blake Lively, Jeremy Piven, Adam Sandler, Steve Schirripa, Jon Stewart, Kristen Stewart, Ben Stiller, Quentin Tarantino and Olivia Wilde, as well as past and present stars of the New York Knicks and Rangers sports teams.
Columbia Records said a selection of 24 live tracks from the concert is available for pre-order on iTunes and a physical album will be made available as soon as possible.
The net proceeds from the soundtrack will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund, which is providing money, material and know-how to local organizations that are serving families and individuals in the regions hardest hit by the hurricane.
