ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- South Korean pop star Psy says he canceled a planned Jan. 26 concert at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., because of a scheduling conflict.

The Orange County Register quoted the "Gangnam Style" singer's publicist as saying he backed out of his American headlining debut show due to "a scheduling conflict caused by unexpected international travel issues."

No further explanation was offered.

It is unclear whether Psy plans to make a scheduled appearance on the second night of KIIS-FM's Jingle Ball Dec. 3 at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, the Register said.
