NEW YORK, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Rocker Jon Bon Jovi's 19-year-old daughter, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, was arrested in New York Wednesday after allegedly overdosing on heroin, police said.

The Town of Kirkland Police Department in upstate New York told TMZ police and emergency medical personnel responded to a 911 call saying Bongiovi was found unresponsive in her dorm room at Hamilton College Wednesday morning after using the illegal drug.

Investigators said they found heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the scene, the celebrity news website reported.

The musician's daughter was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia, TMZ said, noting she has since been released from police custody.
