SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Singer Lisa Loeb's seventh album "No Fairy Tale" is set for release in the United States in early February, 429 Records announced Wednesday.

Loeb teamed up with co-producer Chad Gilbert to record a "poppy-punky-rock album," the music label said.

"He's a tattoo-ed up post-punk rocker and I'm known more as a singer/songwriter with glasses, which may seem like an unlikely pair, but it totally makes sense," Loeb said of Gilbert in a statement. "He brought a whole new angle to my music."

The album is set for release Feb. 5.
