Rolling Stones to play Brooklyn next month

NEW YORK, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- British rock icons The Rolling Stones have announced plans to play Brooklyn's Barclays Center as part of their 50th anniversary mini-tour.

The band previously announced shows at London's O2 Arena Nov. 25 and 29, and at New Jersey's Newark Prudential Center Dec. 13 and 15.

The musicians said this week they will also play the Barclays Center Dec. 8.

The Rolling Stones performed their first concert since 2007 at Le Trabendo club in Paris last month before a crowd of 350 fans. The 90-minute surprise show sold out minutes after it was announced on Twitter.
