She will assume the role of Millicent Winter, the mother of Matthew Broderick's character, Jimmy Winter. The role is currently played by Estelle Parsons, who will give her final performance Dec. 16.

Featuring music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by Joe DiPietro, the new show stars Matthew Broderick and Kelli O'Hara.

Her Broadway credits include "Betrayal," "The Philadelphia Story," "Blithe Spirit," "A Streetcar Named Desire," "The Deep Blue Sea" and "Follies."
