NEW YORK, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- U.S. musician and actor Lea Michele, of "Glee" fame, has announced she's started working on her first solo album.
The Bronx native took to Twitter Friday to tell fans about the new album, though she's keeping mum on the details, the New York Daily News reported.
"At the studio right now at my first recording session for my solo album!! I'm so happy and can't wait for you all to hear this record!!" she tweeted.
She followed with a second tweet saying she was recording in the room next to "X Factor" judge Demi Lovato.
"She's so sweet and just gave me such great motivation!" Lea wrote.
Lea hasn't released many details about the nature of her upcoming album.
"It's a pretty slow process right now so I think we are figuring it out as we go but I do want to make a pop album rather than a Broadway standards album," she told Women's Wear Daily.
