NEW YORK, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- About 60,000 people converged on New York's Central Park Saturday night for an anti-poverty concert featuring the Black Keys and Neil Young with Crazy Horse.

Johnny Legend also was on hand for the 5-hour "Global Citizen Festival" at Central Park's Great Lawn that included the Foo Fighters, Band of Horses and K'Naan.

The concert also was streamed live on several websites.

The New York Daily News said free tickets were given away to people who earned points by supporting designated charities.
