LOS ANGELES, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- U.S. musicians Redfoo and SkyBlu, the uncle-nephew duo known as LMFAO, say they're working on separate projects and don't know when they will collaborate again.

LMFAO is famous for its infectious dance hits "Party Rock Anthem" and "Sexy and I Know It."

"I feel like we've been doing this for so long, five or six years," E! News quoted Redfoo, the son of Motown founder Berry Gordy, as saying. "And we're kind of like saying, well, let's just do what's natural and just kind of explore that, instead of like forcing it all the time."

Redfoo also said he and SkyBlu have begun moving in "different directions."

"I think that we naturally just started hanging with two different sets of people, two different crowds but we're always family," E! News reported he said.
