SIERRA BLANCA, Texas, Sept. 21 (UPI) --
Singer-songwriter Fiona Apple was released from police custody in Texas after posting $10,000 bail following a drug arrest, authorities said.
Apple, 35, was arrested Wednesday after hash and marijuana were allegedly found in her tour bus during a routine border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca.
The Hudspeth County Sheriff's Office told TMZ Apple was arrested after she "freely admitted" the drugs were hers.
She spent the night in jail and was released Thursday on $10,000 bond, the celebrity news website said.
Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg and Armie Hammer were previously arrested for drug possession in the same town.
