'North' tops U.S. album chart

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Matchbox Twenty's "North" is No. 1 on the U.S. album chart, Billboard.com reported Wednesday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 is Imagine Dragons' "Night Visions," followed by Lecrae's "Gravity" at No. 3, the "Now 43" compilation CD at No. 4 and Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are Maroon 5's "Overexposed" at No. 6, 2 Chainz's "Based on a T.R.U. Story" at No. 7, TobyMac's "Eye On It" at No. 8, Trey Songz's "Chapter V" at No. 9 and Cat Power's "Sun" at No. 10.
