Young Buck starts 18-month prison sentence

JACKSON, Miss., Aug. 6 (UPI) -- David Darnell Brown, the rapper known as Young Buck, began an 18-month federal prison sentence for gun possession in Mississippi Monday, TMZ reported.

The former G-Unit rapper checked into Yazoo City Medium Security Federal Prison in Southern Mississippi, the celebrity news Web site said.

Brown, 31, was arrested after federal agents recovered multiple guns in his home in 2010. He was prohibited at the time from possessing firearms because he is a convicted felon, TMZ said.
