LOS ANGELES, July 31 (UPI) -- British musician Peter Frampton said on Twitter his back and neck hurt after his car was hit by another vehicle on a Southern California freeway Tuesday.
"Texting woman driver just ran into back of me while I was stationary in traffic 101 freeway. Can u say whiplash?" Frampton tweeted.
"People put the phones down!" he said. "Back and neck not good. Going to ER after my flight today."
It is unclear whether the other driver was cited for her alleged role in the collision.
Frampton, 62, is scheduled to perform Friday in Otsego, Minn., People.com said.
