CAMARILLO, Calif., July 22 (UPI) -- "American Idol" winner Lee DeWyze has announced his marriage to actress Jonna Walsh in a ceremony in Camarillo, Calif..

The couple exchanged vows Saturday before about 100 guests in what the pair described as a vintage event, People magazine reported Sunday.

"It was really our style of wedding," DeWyze, 26, told People. "Outdoors with chandeliers."

Tables at the reception were decorated with vintage Coca-Cola crates.

"We also had vintage movie reels since I'm an actress," Walsh said, "and sheets of music that were rolled up and put in jars."

The couple met in October 2010 while shooting a video for DeWyze's "Sweet Serendipity," and later went on their first date to a Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls game.

"When he took me home that night I called my mom and told her that I was going to marry him," Walsh said. "I could feel it in my heart."

DeWyze and Walsh plan to honeymoon in Bali, People reported.

"Lee went on his Asian tour, but I've never been there," Walsh said. "We are excited to go see some monkeys!"
