Truck hauling Madonna sound-system crashes

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, July 3 (UPI) -- A truck carrying the sound system for American pop star Madonna's upcoming show in Sweden flipped over on its way to Ullevi stadium, officials said.

The recording artist is to perform in Gothenburg Wednesday.

The Local reported a truck carrying the equipment for her concert flipped on its side Tuesday morning, snarling traffic in both directions during rush hour for a time.

One person was taken to hospital following the accident, the news Web site said, however, the extent of his or her injuries was not reported.

The cause of the mishap and the impact it might have on Wednesday's concert were unclear.
