NEW YORK, June 26 (UPI) -- Curtis Jackson's publicist says the rapper known as 50 Cent is "doing fine" after his sport-utility vehicle collided with a truck Tuesday morning in New York.

"He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries," the performer's representative told TMZ. "He was released this morning and is doing fine."

His Web site ThisIs50.com said the collision happened on the Long Island Expressway.

It was unclear whether Jackson was driving at the time or if police issued any summonses related to the crash.
