NEW YORK, May 15 (UPI) -- U.S. rocker Bret Michaels has settled his lawsuit against producers of the Tony Awards and CBS regarding a head injury he sustained in 2009, TMZ reported.

The terms of the settlement are confidential, the celebrity news Web site said Tuesday.

Michaels was hit by a falling set piece at the Broadway prize presentation three years ago in New York. His nose was broken and he experienced bleeding in his brain.

A year later, he suffered a brain hemorrhage and warning stroke.
