ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., March 19 (UPI) -- Pop star Beyonce, who recently gave birth to her first child, is to perform three concerts at the New Jersey resort Revel, organizers said.

She is booked to perform May 25, 26 and 27 in the new Atlantic City venue's Ovation Hall. The May shows will be the singer's first this year.

Beyonce married rapper Jay-Z in 2008. Their first child, daughter Blue Ivy, was born in New York Jan. 7.

Revel, a 47-story beachfront hotel with performance spaces and a casino, opens its doors April 2.
