Bullets fired at rapper Young Buck

NASHVILLE, March 5 (UPI) -- No arrests have been made in the attempted shooting of rapper Young Buck and his girlfriend in Nashville during the weekend, police said.

The (Nashville) Tennessean reported someone fired a gun at the hip-hop artist, whose real name is David Brown, and his companion Kenyetta Rainey as they drove away, following a heated argument inside South Nashville's La Bamba nightclub early Sunday.

Rainey's shoulder was grazed by a bullet and she was treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center

for the wound, then released, the newspaper said.

Neither Brown -- a former member of 50 Cent's G-Unit -- or an unidentified man in his car were injured.

E! News said 11 bullets hit Brown's sport utility vehicle.

The matter remains under investigation.
