LONDON, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Record label Universal says it plans to release an expanded edition of the British punk album "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols."

The influential music group's 1977 debut album features the hits "God Save the Queen" and "Anarchy in the U.K." It is the band's only studio album.

The group, led by singer Johnny "Rotten" Lydon, broke up in 1978, but has reunited several times over the years to tour. The Sex Pistols was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.

"To be given the opportunity to re-evaluate the Sex Pistols catalog is every music lover's dream," the BBC quoted Universal's Karen Simmonds as saying about plans for the album's 35th anniversary re-release. "We're looking forward to working with the band and celebrating their impact on worldwide culture."
