LOS ANGELES, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Michael Jackson's three children took part in a celebration honoring the late pop star outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Prince, 14, Paris, 13, and Blanket, 9, made hand- and foot-print impressions in a bed of fresh concrete outside the famous theater Thursday, using their father's shoes and signature sequined glove, KTLA, Los Angeles, said.
"It's a very good celebration. I know if Michael was here he would agree. To see all the friends and loved ones and especially his fans here to celebrate this with him," the TV station quoted Jackson's mother, Katherine, as saying.
Also on hand for the occasion were teen recording artist Justin Bieber and Quincy Jones, who produced Michael Jackson's albums, "Off the Wall," Thriller" and "Bad."
Michael Jackson died in 2009 at age 50.
Dr. Conrad Murray, a Texas cardiologist and Michael Jackson's former personal physician, is serving a four-year prison sentence for involuntary manslaughter in connection with the star's death. He was found guilty of administering lethal amounts of anesthesia and sedative to the pop icon in his home to help him sleep, and then failing to come to the performer's aid when he was in distress.
