LAS VEGAS, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- A roll call of celebrity sources indicates Las Vegas will be a hot spot for stars on New Year's Eve.

New York and Miami will also have their fair share of big names who will be ringing in 2012 in sophisticated style and trademark panache.

People magazine said Saturday its correspondents ran down the roster of headline-making personalities and found a definite migration toward The Strip and its bevy of upscale nightclubs.

Among the celebrants will be Pamela Anderson, Chris Brown, Holly Madison and Black Eyed Peas members will.i.am and Fergie. There will be a couple of Kardashians on the town as well; Kim will be rocking away at the Venetian's popular Tao while siblings Kourtney and Rob will grace Tryst at the Wynn.

Rockers Guns-n-Roses will provide the entertainment at the Hard Rock and Stevie Wonder is playing the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

Lady Gaga will headline the happenings in New York's Times Square along with Selena Gomez and Demi Lavato.

Busta Rhymes has a show at Miami's LIV nightclub and Robin Thicke will be on stage at the Delano Hotel.
