HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- U.S. pop singer Adam Lambert took to Twitter to announce the title of his long-awaited second album and the name of its first single.

"Trespassing' is the name of the full-length and the first single, co-written by Dr. Luke with Claude Kelly, Ammo and Cirkut, is called "Better Than I Know Myself," he wrote.

Minutes later he tweeted the hash tag "BETTERTHANIKNOWMYSELF," which then began trending on the Web site.

Lambert said the album would be released in 2012, and RCA Records Chief Executive Officer Peter Edge and President Tom Corson told the Hollywood Reported the album would be out by March 30.

The release should coincide with season 11 of "American Idol" -- he came in second place on the show on season eight.
