LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Denise Richards and rocker Richie Sambora are back together after a yearlong romance ended in 2007, a source told E! News.

"They're very happy and are dating," the insider said. "They never stopped caring for each other."

RadarOnline said the couple were spotted enjoying dinner Sunday at a Japanese restaurant in Woodland Hills, Calif.

Richards is divorced from actor Charlie Sheen, the father of her two daughters. Sambora has a daughter from his previous marriage to actress Heather Locklear.
