LONDON, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has been booked to perform at the 2011 MTV EMA show in Belfast, Northern Ireland, organizers said.

Recording artist/producer DJ David Guetta has also joined the lineup for the Nov. 6 event.

Singers Katy Perry and Amy Lee, actress Hayden Panettiere, supermodels Bar Refaeli and Irina Shayk, WWE superstar Sheamus, actor David Hasselhoff and fashion designer Jeremy Scott are set to attend the prize presentation, MTV said.

Hollywood singer and actress Selena Gomez is to serve as host of the event.

"It's really exciting to be a part of the MTV EMA this year. Can't wait to get to Belfast," Bieber said in a statement Monday.

"Performing at the 2011 MTV EMA is a big deal for any artist; but for a DJ, it's a first. I'll be joined by some of my special guest collaborators. I'm excited and honored -- it's going to be a crazy show," Guetta said.

Bieber and Guetta join previously announced performers Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jessie J, LMFAO and Snow Patrol.

Queen will be honored with the Global Icon Award and will also take the stage for a special performance.

Jason Derulo is to perform during the 2011 MTV EMA Red Carpet Live pre-show.
