ASUNCION, Paraguay, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Rocker Steven Tyler was taken to a hospital in Paraguay Tuesday after he slipped in the shower and suffered injuries to his face, a Paraguayan newspaper said.

Tyler, 63, lost two teeth in the fall at the Hotel Bourbon in Luque and was treated for injuries to his mouth and above his eye, doctors at La Costa Medical Center told ABC Digital, an online newspaper.

A concert Tyler was scheduled to perform with his band Aerosmith Tuesday night at the Jockey Club in Asuncion was postponed to Wednesday, ABC Digital said.
