NASHVILLE, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland will host the Country Music Association's Christmas special for a second consecutive year, the Nashville-based organizers said.

"CMA Country Christmas" will be taped Nov. 10 at the Bridgestone Arena. It will air Thursday Dec. 1 at 9 p.m. EST. The two-hour Christmas special will feature many of today's top country music artists, CMA said Monday in a release.

"The recurring themes you find in country music are the foundation of what makes the holidays so meaningful -- the comfort of home, family and friends," CMA Chief Executive Officer Steve Moore said.

The taping will be held the day after "The 45th Annual CMA Awards," hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, which will air live on ABC.
