HURRICANE MILLS, Tenn., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Country music singer Loretta Lynn was recovering at home Monday in Tennessee after being treated for pneumonia at a Bowling green, Ky., hospital.
A representative for Lynn said the 76-year-old country music star was taken to Kentucky Hospital Emergency Room early Saturday after she awoke about 1:30 a.m. on her tour bus complaining of difficulty breathing.
She was admitted to the hospital and treated for the beginning stages of bacterial pneumonia.
"It was one scary night ... . But I am feeling better and just gonna take it easy for a couple of weeks," Lynn said in a statement on her Web site.
She is scheduled to perform Nov. 3 in Knoxville, Tenn.
