Cross-country drive on 2 gallons of gas

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- U.S. rapper DMX, who was recently released from prison, says he now has his priorities straight and is no longer using drugs.
The hip-hop star, whose real name is Earl Simmons, has been in an out of prison for years on drug, weapons and animal cruelty charges.
"Everyone was taking advantage of me with my finances, trying to put me in the direction to fail. I have 10 kids. I have to drive them in the right direction, so I let the cocaine go," the recording artist told TMZ. "I am on a spiritual road to do right in my life. I am leaving out all negativity and going to stay on the right road to positive."
