Dolores DeFina, a New York native who performed under the name Delores Reade when she was single, was married to Bob Hope from 1934 until his death at 100 in 2003. She frequently traveled and performed with him on stage at events organized for American troops and veterans.
Dolores was a vocal advocate for adoption who also supported Catholic causes, especially those that helped the poor, The Hollywood Reporter said.
The couple is survived by their three children. Their eldest child, a son, died in 2004 at the age of 63.
