LOS ANGELES, Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Singer and humanitarian Dolores Hope, Bob Hope's widow, died Monday of natural causes at her home in Los Angeles, her family said. She was 102.

The Hollywood Reporter said services will be private and Dolores will be buried next to her husband at the Bob Hope Memorial Garden in the San Fernando Mission in Mission Hills, Calif.

Dolores DeFina, a New York native who performed under the name Delores Reade when she was single, was married to Bob Hope from 1934 until his death at 100 in 2003. She frequently traveled and performed with him on stage at events organized for American troops and veterans.

Dolores was a vocal advocate for adoption who also supported Catholic causes, especially those that helped the poor, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The couple is survived by their three children. Their eldest child, a son, died in 2004 at the age of 63.
