LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Rapper T.I., who was released from a federal prison in Arkansas this week, has been returned to jail because he took a tour bus to his halfway house, TMZ said.

The entertainment news Web site cited unnamed law-enforcement sources as saying a warden ordered the hip-hop star back to prison because he didn't travel to the halfway house where he is supposed to be staying via van as he said he would.

The recording artist's wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, told TMZ multiple prison officials took photos with T.I. in front of the luxury tour bus and no one objected at the time.

"This is a bunch of bull [expletive] ... they should have said something before he got on the bus ... T.I. would have politely gotten into a van," Cottle said. "T.I. is one of the strongest individuals I know ... and they just trying to break him in more ways than one and it's not gonna work! 'Cause what God got for him, can't no man take that away ... period!"

T.I. was sentenced to 11 months in federal prison after his drug possession arrest last September. The arrest violated the terms of his probation for a previous federal gun conviction.
