Melanie Brown gives birth to third daughter

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- British singer Melanie Brown said via Twitter Friday she gave birth in Los Angeles to a girl, her first child with her husband, film producer Stephen Belafonte.

Brown also has two other daughters -- 12-year-old Phoenix and 3-year-old Angel Iris -- from previous relationships. Belafonte has a 6-year-old daughter, Giselle, as well.

"Finally our baby arrives,Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed,I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!" Brown said via Twitter. "I am SOOOOOO blessed my heart is melting!!"

E! News said no other details regarding the baby girl's birth were immediately available. Brown was seen entering a Los Angeles hospital with Belafonte in tow Thursday.
