Cross-country drive on 2 gallons of gas
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" held the No. 1 spot on the U.S. record chart for the second week, Billboard.com reported Thursday.
The song was written by Perry -- born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson -- Bonnie McKee, Dr. Luke and Max Martin and is the fifth cut from Perry's third album, "Teenage Dream."
The song in the runner-up spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and also holding steady at No. 2 for the second week in a row is LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock. "She Will" debuts on the chart at No. 3 for Lil Wayne Featuring Drake, while Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" featuring Christina Aguilera drops a notch to No. 4. Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" sank to No. 5 after 17 weeks on the chart.
Rounding out the top tier are Bad Meets Evil's "Lighters" featuring Bruno Mars at No. 6, Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks" at No. 7, Lil Wayne's "How to Love" at No. 8, OneRepublic's "Good Life" at No. 9 and Britney Spears' "I Wanna Go" at No. 10, the latter two songs swapping position on the Hot 100 Top 10.
