'Voice' coaches set for Season 2

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., June 30 (UPI) -- Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are to return as music coaches on Season 2 of the U.S. vocal series, "The Voice," NBC said.

The announcement was made Thursday by Paul Telegdy, executive vice president of alternative programming for NBC and Universal Media Studios.

The competition show is expected to return mid-season.

Its first season wrapped up Wednesday night.

"Our fantastic coaches were integral to the tremendous success of 'The Voice' this year and we are thrilled that they are all returning," Telegdy said in a statement. "We look forward to building Season 2 and making 'The Voice' an even greater experience for fans."
