The prince and his bride are to attend Friday's performance, which is to be filmed in high definition by 18 cameras for live feeds on Euronews and via Ustream online.

The couple's religious wedding ceremony is to take place Saturday.

"His Serene Highness Prince Albert's marriage to Miss Wittstock is a thrilling, once-in-a-lifetime occasion. It is a rare privilege for Monaco to shine on the international stage and to celebrate our country's traditions and rich heritage. As we rejoice in the first wedding of a sovereign in 56 years, we welcome visitors and guests and invite the world to experience firsthand the romance and enchantment of the Principality," Maguy Maccario of the Monaco Government Tourist Office said in a statement Thursday.
