'The Voice' finalists set to tour

LOS ANGELES, June 29 (UPI) -- The eight final contestants from the U.S. vocal competition series "The Voice" have been booked for a six-date concert tour, NBC announced.

Sprint Presents "The Voice" Live on Tour will be promoted by Live Nation. It is to begin July 27 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. Other stops will include Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, Boston and Wallingford, Conn. Tickets are on sale at LiveNation.com.

The tour will feature performances from the show's top contestants Beverly McClellan, Frenchie Davis, Dia Frampton, Xenia, Nakia, Vicci Martinez, Casey Weston and Javier Colon. The Season 1 winner is to be declared in Wednesday night's finale.

"The Voice" is an Americanized version of "The Voice of Holland." Presided over by host Carson Daly, it features Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine as musician coaches working through the various phases of the competition with the aspiring recording stars.
