'Voice' coaches team up for 'Want' cover

LOS ANGELES, June 28 (UPI) -- Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will perform "You Can't Always Get What You Want" on the U.S. series "The Voice," NBC said.

The show's four music coaches are to collaborate on the famous Rolling Stones song on Tuesday's live edition of "The Voice."

In addition, country star Brad Paisley will join fellow R&B/pop artists Pitbull and Ne-Yo as special guest performers that same night, the network said.

The announcements were made Monday by Paul Telegdy, executive vice president of alternative programming at NBC and Universal Media Studios.

"We are excited to see all of our musician coaches perform together as we near the much-anticipated finale of our first season," Telegdy said in a statement. "Likewise, we gladly welcome such a wide variety of established musical stars as Brad Paisley, Pitbull and Ne-Yo to our thrilling performance show that precedes the results show the next night. As time goes by, 'The Voice' is creating an impact and attracting more recognized recording stars who want to join the festivities."

The competition's four finalists set to perform Tuesday are Dia Frampton, Javier Colon, Beverly McClellan and Vicci Martinez. The winner is to be announced Wednesday.
