Christina and Peter Frampton to divorce

LOS ANGELES, June 24 (UPI) -- Rock 'n' roll icon Peter Frampton has filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court from Christina Elfers, his wife of 15 years, records show.

TMZ said Thursday Frampton cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Frampton and Elfers have one daughter.

The 61-year-old British musician was previously married and divorced two other times.
