LONDON, June 21 (UPI) -- Amy Winehouse's publicist said Tuesday the troubled British soul singer has canceled the rest of her 12-city European concert tour.
Winehouse was booed off the stage in Serbia last weekend during the opening night show of her tour. Video footage of the performance showed she stumbled and forgot the words to her songs.
The Grammy Award winner subsequently scrapped concerts for Sunday and Monday in Istanbul and Athens.
Her publicist said Tuesday the rest of the tour will also be canceled.
"Everyone involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she will be given as long as it takes for this to happen," representative Chris Goodman said in a statement issued to CNN.
Goodman did not say whether Winehouse, who has long battled addictions to drugs and alcohol, suffered a relapse in her recovery.
